Aliya Beavers accepts position at the University of Houston Clear Lake

Aliya Beavers was recently named the Director of Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the University of Houston Clear Lake.  Aliya spent the last four years as a Graduate Assistant in the Undergraduate Research office.  She is in the fourth year of her PhD program in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) at Michigan State University.  She plans to defend her dissertation in the spring.  Aliya has been a valuable asset to the Undergraduate Research office and will be greatly missed!
